Man Yun is a truly lovely escape! My friends and I had one of the most relaxing, nature-filled lunches here. The dining area, though small, is incredibly cosy, making it easy to doze off after the delicious meal. The owner is friendly, and the service is attentive. The food is simple, healthy, and satisfying—think Japanese bento style. A word of warning: advance reservation is an absolute must for lunch. Guests are welcome to stay on for tea, which is served from 2 PM to 5 PM. It's just over an hour's drive from Kuala Lumpur, making it the perfect quick getaway. I'm already planning my second visit!

The place is really a good place for us to escape from the busy city life. The boss is really so warm, he show us “how to get to the place” with picture direction, also let us know that we have to walk abit to the place, and also we have to order the food before we go. I think it’s good to mention earlier. What I can say is, I like the way boss display the food, and the food taste is not so heavy, which is what I love too. We found that there is a cute koi in the tea cup too, so cute. Before we leave, we get a chance to chit chat with boss, he is super friendly and he shared his experience to us. Really like it! Definitely will come back again! Worth the price we spent!

A truly serene and peaceful retreat tucked away in the hills of Seremban. Màn Yún offers a one-of-a-kind dining and nature experience — it’s not just a meal, it’s an escape. From the moment you step onto the property, you’re surrounded by lush greenery, fresh mountain air, and a quiet calm that’s hard to find anywhere else. Atmosphere & Setting The ambiance here is absolutely stunning. Perched in nature, it’s quiet, minimalist, and soothing — perfect for those who want to disconnect and just be present. Every corner feels curated with care and intention. Food & Experience As a private kitchen, the menu is curated, pork-free, alcohol-free, and vegetarian-friendly. The dishes are beautifully plated, nourishing, and prepared with a lot of thought. Reservation is a must — they only accept guests by appointment to ensure an intimate and personalized experience. Important Note on Accessibility Be prepared for a bit of an adventure getting here. The road leading up is narrow, steep, and only fits one car at a time. It’s not in the best condition, so you’ll need to drive slowly and carefully — especially around bends. Arriving during daylight hours is strongly recommended. That said, it’s very much worth the effort. The view and experience that await are unforgettable. Tips: • Make your reservation in advance — no walk-ins. • Use Waze/Google Maps, and follow the host’s instructions carefully. • If you’re not a confident driver, consider coming with someone who is. • Best to visit in clear weather and during the day. A hidden gem for nature lovers, couples, or anyone seeking a slow, meaningful escape from the city. Highly recommended!

Food is great. Service is excellent as well. Weather was kind on us today, cloudy with slight breeze made it a very cozy experience. The drive here was ok, maybe abit intimidating to new drivers. Remember to make reservations first.

My boyfriend and I decided to take a short escape from busy KL and honestly, this place was such a gem! Totally worth the 1.5 hour drive.. the moment we got there, the atmosphere just felt so calm and peaceful, like the perfect spot to slow down and recharge. They’re quite strict with reservations though.. we saw people having to wait w/o reservations because seats are fully booked. Luckily I booked a month in advance, and I really appreciated how clear their directions were. They even reminded us to bring an umbrella since the weather can be unpredictable (thankfully it didn’t rain today ). Since it’s so near to Sembayu Villa, we expected the prices to be on the high side, but it turned out to be really reasonable, which made us even happier! Food was fresh, tasty, and just the right portion for a healthy, balanced meal. Drinks start from RM10 too, which is super fair. Overall, such a lovely little spot if you’re looking for good food and a peaceful break away from the city. We left feeling relaxed and happy!

Managed to secure my spot for lunch. Ordered their Grilled Unagi cold Soba set and added grilled Mackerel with Roselle tea. Ushered to my seat, closed my eyes and reboot my senses. Welcome to Màn yún 漫雲! Now nested in greenery and sounds of nature, i felt the calm i came to seek before they served up the beautifully plated food on my table. Unagi is not served whole fillet, it is sliced piece by piece. Mackerel is served as a fillet. The sauce on Unagi and Mackerel tasted the same. A little to sauce heavy for me for the Mackerel, couldn't taste the grill or any crusty feel from it. Was very glad to ordered the pot of Roselle tea, slowly sipping the tea, listening to the sounds of nature, doing a little bird watching... Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience. Thanks Patrick and team and hope to revisit soon!

Finally, hubby and I took leave to try out this secluded restaurant in the forest. We departed from Seremban, and the road here is a scenic drive of green mountains. It's not too hard for most of the way. As we get closer to the restaurant, the road becomes winding with only 1 lane. Luckily, it was not peak hours or peak season. This place is not suitable for large groups, but for couples or small families. Parking is very limited. You must call to reserve in advance. We even ordered our food in advance. We got lucky as hubby called very last minute in the morning, and there was still space left. After parking the car, there is a small hike up the road to the restaurant. There is also a campsite if you are interested. Food was nice but it got cold quickly. Good portion. Mostly bento style. We continued to enjoy the lush greenery while drinking tea. Unfortunately, we had to cut short our date as we can see the storm is coming and we had other errands to complete that day. So we only stayed for less than 2 hours.
